Clipper Terms of Service
Clipper ("the app") is private, single-user software operated by its owner to create short video clips and publish them to the owner's own YouTube channels, and optionally to the owner's own TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts through Buffer. These terms describe the conditions under which the app is used. Because the app is not offered to the public, its only user is its owner, and these terms exist to document how the app operates.
Use of the app
- The app is used only by its owner and only with accounts the owner controls.
- The app is not licensed, sold, or made available to third parties.
- The owner is responsible for every video the app uploads, including compliance with the YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube's Community Guidelines, and applicable copyright law.
YouTube API Services
The app uses YouTube API Services. By using the app, the owner agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. The app's own handling of data is described in its privacy policy.
Content
Clips produced by the app are excerpts of publicly available podcasts and interviews, credited to their original creators with a link to the full episode where available. Any creator who wants a clip removed can request it through the contact below and it will be taken down promptly.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The owner uses it at their own risk. Nothing in these terms creates any obligation toward third parties.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. The current version is always the one posted at this address, with its effective date above.
